Level 3 Summary

Level 2 Summary

Ideal for residents who need comprehensive personal care support funded through their NDIS plan.

Important Notes:

  • Level 3: CCAL provides housekeeping, linen, and medication prompts as part of the accommodation fee.
  • Level 2: When you engage INREACH Supports for personal care, housekeeping, linen, and medication-related tasks move to INREACH Supports and are billed to your NDIS plan — they are no longer part of the CCAL accommodation fee.
  • Compliance: This ensures no duplication of services and aligns with NDIS best practice regarding separation of housing and personal care supports.

Key Message:

At Christine Court Assisted Living, we maintain a clear separation between accommodation and personal care services. This ensures full transparency for residents and families: accommodation fees cover housing-related services only, while personal care services are provided separately via your chosen NDIS provider. When participants engage INREACH Supports for personal care (Level 2), accommodation fees are adjusted to reflect the shift of certain services (such as housekeeping, linen changes, and medication-related supports) to the NDIS funding stream. This supports affordability, promotes choice and control, and ensures compliance with NDIS Practice Standards.

Compliance Statement

Christine Court Assisted Living (CCAL) and INREACH Supports operate as separate service providers, maintaining a clear division between accommodation services and personal care services. Accommodation fees paid to CCAL cover housing-related services only. Personal care services are provided by INREACH Supports or another NDIS-registered provider of the participant's choice and are billed separately under the participant's NDIS plan where applicable. When participants engage INREACH Supports for personal care (Level 2), CCAL adjusts its accommodation fees to reflect the shift of certain services (such as housekeeping, linen changes, and medication-related supports) to the NDIS funding stream. This ensures transparency, supports participant choice and control, and aligns with NDIS Practice Standards and Queensland regulatory requirements. All fee structures are clearly documented in service agreements to avoid duplication of charges and to promote financial clarity for participants and their families.

You Stay in Control:

You are free to choose INREACH Supports or any other NDIS provider for your personal care needs.

Accessing Additional Supports

While CCAL provides a structured living environment, many additional personal care and community support services are accessed through INREACH Supports , our sister company and registered NDIS provider. INREACH Supports operates onsite, allowing residents to seamlessly receive care funded through their NDIS plans.

If you don’t have NDIS funding , CCAL can offer certain supports privately; however, most residents prefer to utilize their NDIS funding for personal care.

Is CCAL Right for Your Loved One? - Eligibility Criteria

Our supported accommodation hostel is designed for families seeking safe, professional care for their loved ones who require additional structure and support. We welcome residents with:

  • Intellectual disability (mild to moderate)
  • Acquired brain injury (ABI)
  • Mental health conditions requiring a structured environment
  • Age-related support needs

Many of our residents rely on the Disability Support Pension (DSP) as their primary source of income. Each application is assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure we can provide a suitable arrangement that meets the resident’s needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions, Answered

Below are some of our most common inquiries regarding CCAL's accommodation levels, personal care options, and how we work with INREACH Supports.

Yes. If you begin to require daily personal care—such as help with medication or hygiene tasks—you can move from Level 3 to Level 2, provided you opt for INREACH Supports to deliver those daily services. If you'd like a different provider, you'll remain at Level 3 to maintain clear responsibilities and billing.

No. Only if you want access to Level 2. If you do not require these services from INREACH Supports—or have no daily activities funding—then Level 3 may be more aligned with your situation.

Legislation requires a clear separation between accommodation and personal care services. This ensures choice, fair billing, and mitigates conflicts of interest. Through INREACH Supports, CCAL aligns with these regulations while offering residents specialized, high-quality assistance.

No. Level 3 provides basic oversight (1:35) —weekly cleaning, linen changes, and medication prompts—but not daily hands-on support. If you need consistent, individualized care throughout the day, Level 2 with INREACH Supports providing personal care is the right fit. Alternatively, Level 3 with an External NDIS Provider is also an option.

CCAL's Level 2 policy exclusively partners with INREACH Supports to ensure consistent, high-quality daily care. External providers have occasionally left critical tasks incomplete, requiring CCAL staff to step in without proper compensation. If you prefer a different provider—or do not need daily care—Level 3 is available to maintain fair cost structures and clear boundaries.

Simply call or email us using the details on our Contact Us section below. We'll gladly arrange a visit to show you around and discuss your individual care or funding needs.

No. You are free to engage any NDIS-registered personal care provider of your choice. Many families choose INREACH Supports because they operate onsite and coordinate closely with CCAL, but you can select whichever provider best suits your needs.

The Level 2 fee is adjusted because certain services (such as housekeeping, linen changes, and medication-related supports) are no longer included in the CCAL accommodation fee — they are instead delivered via your chosen NDIS provider and funded under your NDIS plan. This ensures fees accurately reflect the services provided and avoids duplication of charges.

When you choose Level 2 accommodation and engage INREACH Supports (or another NDIS provider) for personal care, services like housekeeping, linen changes, and medication-related supports are delivered by your NDIS provider and billed through your NDIS plan. They are not included in CCAL's Level 2 accommodation fee.

The Level 2 accommodation fee structure helps ensure that accommodation charges remain aligned with your actual housing services, while personal care is funded separately through NDIS as intended. This supports affordability and transparency — your DSP continues to contribute toward accommodation, while personal care supports are appropriately funded via NDIS.

Yes. If you remain on Level 3, CCAL continues to provide housekeeping, linen changes, and medication prompts. You are welcome to engage any NDIS provider for additional supports such as community participation or specialist supports while keeping Level 3 accommodation.
