About Christine Court Assisted Living

Our History & Mission

Christine Court Assisted Living (CCAL) was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a safe, homelike environment that respects independence while offering the right level of care. Established in 2006, our community initially served a small group of individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or brain injuries. Over time, we adapted our services to align with community sentiment and evolving care standards, reducing density and enhancing our accommodation model to provide tailored, individual support.

Throughout our growth, we have stayed committed to our original mission:

To foster an inclusive, nurturing community where residents feel
empowered, respected, and supported in living life on their own terms.

Who We Are Today

Today, CCAL is a bustling residence that provides Level 2 and Level 3 Supported Accommodation to a wide range of individuals, from people with disabilities who may receive personal care services from external providers to older adults who simply enjoy a more structured living environment. We collaborate closely with INREACH Supports, our trusted partner organization, to ensure that personal care is delivered seamlessly under a transparent and compliant model.

Our Values

Respect We believe every resident’s voice matters. Staff listen carefully to individual preferences, enabling them to tailor daily routines, meals, and activities.

Empowerment – Residents maintain control over their finances, healthcare choices, and lifestyle decisions, with support available only when needed or requested.

Transparency – CCAL focuses on accommodation services; personal care is provided externally by INREACH Supports (or a provider of your choosing at Level 3). This clarity in roles prevents overlap in billing and ensures specialised oversight.

Community Integration – We encourage social connections—both within CCAL and beyond. Whether it’s a morning tea social in the lounge, a group outing to local markets, or virtual visits with far-flung relatives, staying connected is key to wellbeing.

Looking Ahead

As CCAL continues to grow, we remain dedicated to innovating our service offerings and strengthening community ties. Our team attends ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in disability support, and we welcome resident feedback to guide improvements.
