Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you enquire.
Understand what Christine Court provides, what is arranged separately and how resident choice works.
Is Christine Court an NDIS provider?
No. Christine Court is a Queensland residential service, not a registered NDIS provider. Residents with NDIS plans engage their chosen NDIS providers separately.
Do I need NDIS funding or SIL to live at Christine Court?
No. Christine Court is home to people with different support and funding arrangements. Not all residents are NDIS participants, and not all NDIS participants receive Supported Independent Living.
What personal-care services does Christine Court provide?
Christine Court's own personal-care services are limited to medication assistance and emergency response. Routine supports such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, daily living assistance and community access are arranged separately with a resident's chosen external provider where required.
Can I use my existing support provider?
Yes. Residents may use external support providers of their choice. Some residents use INREACH for onsite supports while retaining an external provider for community linking, social participation or another specialised support. We discuss reasonable access, safety, privacy and coordination arrangements with each resident and provider.
Can I change support providers after moving in?
Yes. Changing a support provider does not affect residency at Christine Court. With the resident's consent, we can coordinate practical arrangements for a safe transition.
What is the relationship between Christine Court and INREACH Supports?
INREACH Supports is a separate related organisation designed to work alongside Christine Court as an optional integrated accommodation-and-support offering. Its onsite model can provide agreed medication assistance across multiple daily rounds and coordinate supports around the resident's daily routine. Where that assistance is funded and delivered under a separate INREACH agreement, Christine Court can adjust its medication-related residential charge to avoid duplication. Residents are not required to use INREACH and may choose another provider that can meet the agreed schedule.
Is support available 24/7?
Emergency response availability is maintained for residents. This does not mean routine personal care or NDIS support is continuously available. We explain the service arrangements that apply before admission.
What meals are included?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided each day. Dietary needs should be discussed during the enquiry and intake process.
